In this exciting new build project in the north of Madrid, a villa extension has been created to design an elegant private lounge. The main objective of this extension was to create an ambience similar to that of a private cinema, offering comfort and an immersive experience for the residents.
A prominent feature of this room is the presence of large windows, which together with the ceiling design combine to create a cosy ambience and a false ceiling with an LED chandelier has been installed to provide soft and adjustable indirect lighting.
Motorised blinds made of "black out" fabric have been installed in the ceiling curtain spaces. These blinds allow the external light to be completely blocked, ideal during cinema screenings.
The furniture selected for this living room stands out for its elegant style. The sofas and pouffes are the Serjac model by Atemporal, which offer comfort and blend in perfectly with the rest of the room. These sofas are matched with the Aura sideboard, the Bosh bookcase and the Gau table by Treku, all made of honey oak with knot.
Additional lighting in the living room is complemented by the Taro lamp from Aromas del Campo, which adds a touch of style and provides soft, pleasant ambient light. In addition, Arkos Light's Black Fosters recessed spotlights have been installed to highlight specific elements of the interior design and create a cosy atmosphere.
A Panero wood-burning fireplace has been incorporated as the focal point of the living room.
The undisputed star of the room is undoubtedly London Art's "Just Breathe Re-Edition" wallpaper. This wallpaper, with its unique jungle design, adds a touch of style and sophistication to the space, making it an eye-catching centrepiece.

We wanted to have a unique living room in our villa. A space where we could lie down and watch movies by the fireplace, and from the very first moment the Digar Kiona team understood our vision. The Atemporal sofa is not only extremely comfortable, but it also fits in completely with the concept we wanted. In addition, the wall with the wallpaper has become a work of art that we stare at forever. The whole process was a pleasure, from the attention to detail to the final execution by the workmen. We would definitely choose them again.
